Zeno Roth
1956年6月30日、ドイツ・デュッセルドルフ生まれ。
バンド「ZENO」で、1986年にEMI UKよりファーストアルバム「ZENO」でデビュー以来、メロディアス・ロック・シーン屈指のソングライターとして高い評価を受け続ける。
兄、ウリ・ジョン・ロート（Uli Jon Roth）とも比較される流麗な泣きのギターワークも常にファンの注目を集める。 また、高いメッセージ性のある詞も、Zeno音楽哲学の中では重要な位置を占めており、そのリリシズム溢れるメロディとともに、ヒーリング・ロックと呼ばれることもある。
作品は完全完璧主義であり、最後の一音に数ヶ月時間を費やすこともある。…が、素顔は結構ひょうきんである。
